Went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the bike on level 10 on the random hill setting. Then did abs and did weight machines. Then did the adductor and abductor machines.

Went for a run with my mom and brother and did 2 miles in 21:06. Then did ab work.

Went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the eliptical on the fat burn setting (much harder than the one at UVA). Then did the adductor and abductor machines, as well as the chest weight. Then did abs and weights.

Ran 2 miles by myself in 19:49. Felt kinda sucky, but maybe that was because I was going faster and running alone.

Went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the bike. Started out doing a random hill workout on level 3, then changed it to level 13 after 10 minutes. Then did abs and ergged for 10 minutes (30 seconds slow, 30 seconds fast). Then did the adductor and abductor machines, as well as the chest machine.

Went to the gym and did the eliptical for 25 minutes on level 6. Very strange movement and hurt my back. Then did the adductor and abductor machines with 50 each and then did abs.

Ran a mile with my brother in 9:17, then 1.22 miles to finish in 20:25. Then walked around with my mom and other brother for a while. Very cold out, but nothing really hurt.

Home for the Holidays

Went for a run with my mom and did 2 miles in 22:42. Felt okay, shins kind of hurt but I couldn't tell if it was just tight or not. Top right chest was kind of tight, but not too bad.

Went to the gym and did 33 minutes on the eliptical (28 on weight loss, 5 minute cool down). Then did abs and weights. Then did 50 on the adducter, 50 on the abductor, and 50 more on the adductor.

Ran around outside for the first time in over a week. Did about 1.8 miles in 16:49. Throat and chest kind of hurt.

Went to the gym and ran 1.5 miles on the treadmill in 17:06. Shins really hurt a lot and I had to sit down after I finished because I felt faint. Then did some weights and the abductor and adductor machines.

Went to the gym and did 33 minutes on the eliptical (weight loss setting, last 5 minutes cool down). Then did the adducter machine for 50 reps, weights for one cycle, and abducter for 50 reps, and then the adducter again for 50 reps. Then did abs.

Went to the gym and walked 2 miles on the treadmill on the Pike's Peak setting (incline 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3 repeated). It took about 35 minutes.

Last day of class! Ran a 5k in 31:39, which is slower than I wanted, but it was really cold and I'm still not used to the hills here. Jenna also made us muffins :)

Learned how to race-walk today! I thought I was pretty okay at it, but my hips really started to hurt, and my back some afterwards. I got more out of breath than I thought I would.
