Ran a warmup to Lambeth Field in 5:33. Did a 1.5 mile loop down 14th in 14:33 (had to stop for a minute at about 7:30 because my weird ab thing was hurting on my left side). Pretty cold out today, but breathing not too bad.

Went to the gym and tried to erg, but it hurt my shin so I only did 5 minutes (30 seconds slow, 30 seconds fast). Then biked for 20 minutes and did some abs.

Ran a 3 mile route today in 30:23. Quads hurt a little, mostly going up hill. It wasn't too cold out, so asthma wasn't a problem.

Ran a warmup to Klockner Stadium in 10:58. Then ran a timed mile in 8:37 (I did not know that there were 9 fewer meters on the track). Ran a cooldown in 10:13. The mile run felt kind of strange, but that might have been because of the cold.

Ran a 3:40 warmup. Did a tempo run with 5 minutes out. Did 2 of them in 10:01 exactly both times. Then did 5 striders in a muddy field.

Ran a warmup in 5:06. Did out-and-backs with 3 minutes out and trying to finish in 6 minutes. Did four of them in 5:45, 5:54, 5:58, and 5:58. Then did a cooldown in 3:21. My lower back hurt for the first half of each out-and-back because it was a slight incline the whole way.

Did a run that was supposed to be 3 miles (but ended up being 3.5) in 35:05. We stopped and stretched about 5 minutes into it. My lower back started hurting during the run, and it didn't feel like I was going very far compared to the amount of energy I was using.

Ran two warmup laps on Nameless Field in 2:59. Did relays with partners with running one lap then switching off until both partners had run 10 laps. My total time for all 10 laps was 11:07. Then we ran a cooldown lap in 1:18.

Ran the Law School loop (~2.5 miles) doing the faster intervals. Stretched about 6 minutes into it and finished in 25:40. I thought my asthma was going to bother me today since it was in the lower 40's, so I took my albuterol before I left, but it didn't bother me at all.

Went to the gym and rowed 2000m on the erg in about 12 minutes (first minute normal, then 30 seconds fast and 30 seconds slow). Did the lat bar, some weights, and ab work.

Didn't really run a warmup because it was part of our route. Ran up by Observatory Hill and did the Circle Run (Indian Run). The hills sucked. Finished the run in 34:37 and it was about 3 miles.

Foggy and very humid today. Ran a warmup in 5:55. Did out-and-backs with 2:30 out. Did 4 in 4:50, 4:51, 5:03, and 4:59. Did a cooldown in 5:34. Lower back and left front ab hurt (the same place that was hurting in spring 2011) and felt nauseous most of the time (started last night). Birthday tomorrow!

Ran a warmup to Klockner Stadium in 6:45. Did the tape work out (16 minutes running, 2 fast then 2 slow and moving your tape to where you finished your 2 minutes fast each time). Ran back to Mem Gym in 7:38.
